Boatman of the Outs
Fisher Putbrese has been a boatman all his life, just like his old man and his grandpappy before him. He’s nearly bald, but his remaining gray hair hangs down greasily and is infrequently cut with a bowl. He wears thinning and frayed brown cloths and old sandals that he rarely replaces but often repairs, after his own fashion. He usually works with his son and cousin, and they make a pretty good team, even if they can barely keep a roof over their heads.
